OUR RECIPIENTS

AidForArtists.org provides financial support to professional artists impacted by the LA fire. By focusing on those who rely on their art for income, we aim to help rebuild their lives and creative practices.

Grant Criteria

  • Who We Aim To Support:
    • Professional artists in disciplines like visual arts, music, writing, and film whose primary income comes from their creative work.
    • Artists who demonstrate significant loss due to the fire (e.g., home, studio, or essential tools).
    • Priority given to those with limited financial resources who cannot recover without aid.
    • Exclusions: Hobby artists or those with substantial non-artistic income.
  • Grant Details:
    • Amount: up to $20,000 per recipient.
    • Use: Funds must go toward disaster relief and recovery expenses.
    • Accountability: Recipients must submit a follow-up report within six months.

    • Selection based on demonstrated loss, need, and commitment to rebuilding.
